DART's Shortfall

How can the Orange Line to Irving be the 900 million shortfall? That line is not under construction. Irving has every right to be concerned and the other 12 member cities should take a good look at the cost overruns on the current construction which comes out of the Project Management Committee.

Dallas Transportation committee should be wondering about the second alignment to Downtown and also the connection to Love Field and the trolley system for downtown. The real story was not told today in the Dallas Morning News. The spin doctors are at work, but the public should insist on more information. DART is a public agency getting public dollars for operation.
